Mark Prouse

I am a retired Scenic Artist.  I made my living in New York City painting theatrical and studio sets for stage, television and film productions. I worked for the CBS Broadcasting Corporation from 2006 through 2016; during the last five years there, I managed the CBS Scenic Shop.  In “retirement,” I’ve returned to my first loves, painting, drawing and photography. I’m currently working on an extensive series of portraits honoring The Women of Popular Music. This project ties in with a love of music in general, reflected in a massive collection of recorded music and books about music.
