The Refugee Cathedral of the Ascending Bull

This exhibit tells a multidimensional story of exile and identity.

The Refugee Cathedral of the Ascending Bull is a multimedia exhibit informed by the narratives of five archetypal women and how they relate to issues of immigration, exile, and identity survival.

This exhibit is the latest work by artist and Broward College professor Jônatas Chimen. The exhibit aims to highlight the plight of immigrants and asylum seekers within the current sociopolitical climate of present-day America, through a symbolic and multidimensional language.

Jônatas will be present
