What can families do at the Museum?

Activities: Hear the fairytales and favorite stories such as Eric Carle’s Very series; Otter in Space; Pete the Cat and the Supercool Science Fair; Ada Twist, Scientist; Rosie Revere, Engineering; and Iggy Peck, Architect and more. Make-and-take age-appropriate STEM challenges that relate back to the story such as firefly circuit cards, spider webs, mystery small box and more!
Exhibits, Shows and Demos: Guests will be amazed by a Cool Off-Liquid Nitrogen Show, explore the design process, which is a fundamental part of engineering by designing and creating custom glider cars that can roll, glide and land. Then, watch KaBOOM! show to explore the fire, sparks and large explosions as they explore the science behind chemical reactions.
Animal Encounters: Meet the animals that are in storybooks, such as our otters, spiders, American Alligators, beetles, crickets and others that call MODS home.
IMAX on the GIANT Screen: Dinosaurs of Antarctica, Great Barrier Reef, Superpower Dogs, Dino Dana The Movie, Ocean Odyssey and more!
