Free Film Screening of Beyond the Visible: Hilma af Klint

Oolite Arts is excited to bring the Art Films series online with a free film screening of Beyond the Visible: Hilma af Klint, followed by a Q&A with the film’s director Halina Dyrschka and Oolite’s President/CEO Dennis Scholl. 

This documentary explores the life and work of Hilma af Klint, a visionary and trailblazing artist, who created abstract art before the term existed. Often inspired by spiritualism, modern science, and the natural world, she began to reel out a series of large-scale, bold and colorful works, which made her the subject of a smash retrospective at the Guggenheim Museum in Oct. 2018.
