Enchanting Sound of Sitar and Tabla

Rajesh Bhandari started studying tabla at the age of nine at the East Indian Music Academy in New York with Pandit Ravideen Ramsamoojji and also studied harmonium and Indian vocal. Rajesh is now under the tutelage of renowned tabla player Pandit Samir Chatterjee. Rajesh has had the privilege of accompanying many artists of several styles of Indian music including devotional, romantic, folk , semiclassical and classical. These artists include Ganashyam Joshi, Nirmal Udhas, Kadri Kipriya, Rajkumar Rizvi, Ghulam Abbas Khan, Swagata Chakraborty, Suchishmita Das,  Niramalia Roy, Mukul Agarwal, Sudhir Narain, Jawad Ahmed, Charanjeet Singh, Smt. Lakshmi Shankar,Tahira Syed, Sharafat Ali Khan, Satish Vyas, and Nand Kishore Muley.

Rajesh Ramoutar is a sitarist living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and has been learning sitar from Bharti Chokshi for over 10 years. He has also received training from numerous musicians including Vidushi Manju Mehta, Pt. Krishna Mohan Bhatt, Vidushi Anupama Bhagwat, Shri Chirag Katti, and many more.
