Dr. Janet Towell will focus on the history of pop-up books in children's literature with an emphasis on the work of Czech artist Vojtêch Kubašta (1914-1992) and American artist Robert Sabuda (1965+). Dr. Towell is a professor of Reading Education at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.
