The day-long “Tell Your Story” workshop invites cultural executives, development and marketing staff, arts professionals and artists to learn – and implement – strategies and practical tools for emotionally engaging audiences.
This workshop teaches attendees to transform business stories into compelling videos and other visual media formats.
Featuring the marketing insights of the Visual Storytelling Institute (VSI), the interactive workshop guides attendees through a nine-step framework that blends easy-to-grasp concepts with hands-on exercises. Emphasizing the design and practical application of customized content marketing strategies, the workshop’s modular lessons harness the visual – and visceral – impact of digital storytelling.
Exploring the elements of effective marketing strategies, VSI co-founders Shlomi Ron and Ville Ailio demonstrate the emotional appeal and visual dynamism of well-packaged narratives. Breaking down each stage of design and production, VSI’s framework aims to help attendees battle the twofold challenges of today’s market: contemporary content overload and an ever-shrinking attention span.
“Placing your customer at the heart of the story, visual storytelling is a marketing strategy that leverages compelling narratives,” remarks Ron, whose twenty years of experience in digital marketing led him to co-found the Visual Storytelling Institute. “An emotional visual media experience [can] empower customers’ lives and drive business results.”
Tailoring audience engagement tactics to fit the needs – and overarching aims – of an organization, VSI’s framework focuses on the effective deployment of marketing resources.
