Summer Arts Camp: Broadway Actors

This popular full-day camp immerses students in both the performing and visual arts. Campers study acting, voice, movement, improvisation, costume design, set design, and technical design. They gain skills in character development, projection, articulation, creative thinking, problem solving, concentration, sketch design, and artistic creation. This exciting journey culminates in a "Junior Broadway" production at the 500-seat Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center (each camper receives two free tickets for family and friends).

Due to ensemble format of this program and the heightened expectations of the final performance, participants must meet minimum attendance requirements and commit to dress and tech rehearsals, as well as the final performance.

Session 1: Hairspray, Junior June 9 – July 3; Performance at 5 p.m. on July 3

Session 2: Aladdin, Junior July 14 – August 8; Performance at 5p.m. on August 8
