A program of music by Native American composers and the Black Seminoles.
Season 11: Encounters with Strangers is a series of concerts inspired by the power of the stranger. Each program tells a story of the role of the stranger to change a life, for the better or for the the worse. Stay after each performance to discuss the topics raised in the concert in a round table discussion.
Program 6: Tears from the Sky is the story of the Black Seminoles who were assisted by the native Americans with Native American and Gullah Geechee music.
