Senior Idol

Tri-Rail's "Senior Idol," sponsored in part by Baptist Health South Florida, Boomer Times, Festival Flea Market and John Knox Village, is always a magical, entertaining show featuring a competitive cast of talented local singers 65 years and older. Twelve eager-to-win contestants will sing songs from the past and present as they vie for the title of Tri-Rail's Senior Idol and a $500 grand prize with a pass to ride Tri-Rail for one year.

Now in its ninth year, Tri-Rail's Senior Idol continues to deliver an unmatched level of excitement for event goers of all ages. Fans will cheer for their favorite featured singers, some who are former stage and screen professionals who performed on Broadway, major television shows, touring acts and more. A panel of professional judges adds to the excitement as to who will win the honor.

In addition, attendees will also enjoy a special performance by 2013 Senior Idol winner Tony Mazza and other surprise guests.

As an added bonus, those who present their Senior Idol ticket stub on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale immediately following the show will receive special dining discounts at popular restaurants such as Tuscan Grill, Voodka, Mangos and Grille 401.
