Enjoy a reading and Q&A from author Rick Karlin at the launch of his new book, Paper Cuts: My Life in Chicago’s Volatile LGBTQ Press, from Rattling Good Yarns Press. Rick Karlin, an inductee to the Chicago lesbian and Gay Hall of Fame, has left his mark on Chicago’s LGBTQ press. Karlin is a well-known columnist, author, playwright and impresario. From the early rough and tumble days of the LGBTQ press, he pushed the boundaries of the media, stepped on some toes and had his toes stepped on.
