"Fragments"

This event is a solo exhibition featuring a new body of work by Pablo Francisco Matute. The exhibition will be held on July 25th at Gallery 217 at the Nova University Campus in Davie and will be on view until August 29th. This exhibition will follow a yearlong exploration into Pablo’s work using natural materials such as palm fronds and raw wood to create abstract works that build connections geographically to South Florida and its vibrant community of Carribean and South American culture. Exploring themes of memory, recontextualization, and preservation though the use of traditional mediums and natural materials. This project is made possible by the Broward Cultural Division and The Community Foundation of Broward.
