One Noble Journey: A Box Marked Freedom

Actor and playwright Michael Wiley wowed audiences with his one man play – Dar He: The Story of Emmet Till last year. With limited seating on the Bailey Hall stage, the intimate nature of the performance was enhanced. One Noble Journey marks the story of a slave named Henry Wilson who actually mailed himself to freedom in a wooden box. Mr. Wiley will conduct a Q & A after each performance. Grades 6 – 12 (50 minute performance)
