Little House on the Ferry

At the beach resort of Fire Island Pines, Randall's 30th birthday turns into a weekend of self-discovery and change when marriage equality becomes law in New York State and he is caught in a love triangle. One choice is Randall's lover Timothy, the New York tax attorney, who is caught by surprise when the law passes and is reluctant to commit. The other choice is 'love at first sight' Jake, the political activist who invites Randall to his native Kansas. Randall copes with help from his co-worker Antonio, the Fire Island boy crazy newbie, and Donnie, the veteran house "Mom". Max, the "Steroid Queen", gets in a few words. There are 15 original songs and 8 reprises, each in a different genre. The musical starts on June 24, 2011, the eve of the New York vote on gay marriage and unfolds over the weekend with sun, sand and Planter's Punches
