Concept to Creation

 Participants will be led through a series of creative problem solving exercises to develop original symbols and imagery that effectively communicate the artist’s ideas and intentions. Use of the Elements and Principles of Design will be employed to organize those ideas into meaningful compositions. These skills are designed to help motivate ongoing creative habits and dispel the “creative block” syndrome, and not just complete a class “project.” Participants are encouraged to have a sketchbook for this class.
