Artists For Conservation: Saving Nature One Brushstroke At A Time: Green, White & Blue Festival

The world’s top conservation-themed art exhibit is returning to South Florida with two showings by internationally recognized and accomplished painters and sculptors in the nature art genre.

Following last year’s pilot program, Artists for Conservation (AFC) are returning to Broward County with a “Green, White & Blue Festival” exhibit for 2015, featuring the works of 45 artists.
 

May 12—June 19 at the Alvin Sherman Library Gallery at Nova Southeastern University

 

An opening reception is planned for 6 p.m on April 30th at the Miramar Cultural Center

 

AFC will also screen three of its short films during the exhibits:  “Art & Conservation in the Caymans”, “The Soysambu Legacy” and “How an Artist Saved the Mountain Gorilla”.

The exhibits presented by BBX Capital Foundation are free to the public.
