Art Reaching Today's Youth, Inc.

Art Reaching Today’s Youth, Inc., or ARTY, is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2016 as the means of providing art instruction for children in kindergarten through 5th grade whose schools have no visual arts program or the financial means to provide such an activity. ARTY’s mission is to raise donations and secure grant dollars that are used expressly for providing our innovative program that combines visual arts instruction with language arts and reading – each child receiving a brand-new book at the conclusion of the activity. Classes are presented by experienced teaching artists using the innovative “Arty Van Gogh” mobile art studio, a converted school bus with a fully equipped maker space on board.
