From one of France’s great contemporary humanist directors comes a story of identity and family relations. Mathieu, a 33-year-old Parisian who finds out that the father he never knew has died, decides to go to his funeral in order to meet his two siblings in Quebec.  As he gets to know his father’s Canadian family and acquaintances, Mathieu wonders why his existence was kept from them. He soon begins to suspect that something is amiss.
