2023 IGNITE Broward

Broward Cultural Division, in Partnership with MAD, presents 2023 IGNITE Broward.

· Running from Monday, January 25th through Thursday, January 29th, 2023, this year’s IGNITE is doubling in size to showcase 11 spectacular light-based installations created by eight celebrated contemporary artists and designers from France, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

· The third annual family-friendly festival will last for five days and nights featuring large-scale 3D projection mapping and interactive light sculptures and installations that will transform two locations in Fort Lauderdale and Dania Beach, FL.

Kick-Off Event: Wednesday, January 25 at 7pm at Museum of Discovery & Science’s Atrium.

Daily: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.: Six interactive light sculptures and installations will take over the gallery and exterior spaces at Mad Arts in Dania Beach (481 S. Federal Highway), with extended viewing until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Artworks by MASARY Studios, NONOTAK, Daniel Iregui / Iregular, Seeper, theVERSEverse, and MF Dynamics will be on display.

Nightly: 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.: Downtown Fort Lauderdale will feature five spectacular outdoor, digital, light-based art and 3D projection mapping installations at the Museum of Discovery & Science (401 SW 2 St.) and Esplanade Park (400 SW 2 St.). Artworks by Limelight Projection Mapping, Akiko Yamashita, Daniel Iregui / Iregular, and Seeper will be on display.
