The Thread that Connects Us

Studio 18 Art Complex invites you to join us this Friday, September 16th at 7 PM for the opening reception of The Thread that Connects Us, an exhibition illustrating the bonds that we have with one another and with our place on Earth.
From artworks symbolizing connection through the use of fibers and threads, to images representing memory and nostalgia, this exhibition illustrates the bonds that we have with one another and with our place on Earth. It features the rhythms and networks that are present on our relationships with people, places and things. The artworks in the exhibition present images that seek for meaning and understanding of the environment around us and within us, and how in that quest we are all connected.

Exhibiting artists include Ana Aguerrevere, Kristin Beck, Michelle Drummond, Andrea Huffman, Autumn Kioti, Jill Lefkowitz, Kandy Lopez, Felisa Prieto, Alicia Rodriguez, Mary Gallagher Stout, Yochi Yachir-Avin.
