Ronin Taiko presents: Kon Jo Spirit of Courage

Through powerful sounds and energetic theatrical movement, Ronin Taiko has developed a unique performance style which reflects the group's great dedication to the traditions of wadaiko (Japanese drumming) performances. By way of taiko, the Japanese drum, and a variety of additional Japanese instruments, such as the shinoboue, shakuhachi, and shamisen, Ronin Taiko will take you on a musical journey into the life of a masterless warrior, known as a Ronin, whose tenacity, and courage, determine his very survival.

Ronin Taiko is honored to be accompanied onstage by special guest and Shamisen performer Kyle Abbott as well as students from the Wadaiko Academy.
