Role-Playing Games for Kids!
Ages 12-17 years

Your child will learn how to play table-top role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons and learn how to a run a game themselves with professional gamemaster Ed Casas, Director of ActBroward.

Participants will learn to adopt the roles of fantasy heroes and work in collaboration with other players to achieve objectives in a collaborative story-telling format. Participants will also learn fictional world-building skills, storytelling, and fantasy map making, enabling them to run their own table-top role-playing game.

It has been shown that children who play table-top role-playing games, like Dungeons & Dragons, score higher on standardized tests and have increased language arts & math skills, as well as improved social skills.

First time participants receive a pouch of 7 colorful dice, and their first miniature figurine (28mm), as well as a link to our original rules BeaR-PiGS (Basic Role-Playing Game System) in PDF format.
