Florida’s Strategic Plan for Arts and Culture: Listening Sessions

Broward Cultural Division is hosting three listening sessions for the community to hear and share their thoughts on the new strategic plan for arts and culture development from the Florida Department of State Division of Cultural Affairs.

Florida Department of State Division of Cultural Affairs (DCA) has embarked on a planning process to develop its new strategic plan. DCA wants to learn more about how the Division of Cultural Affairs can best support arts and culture in Florida. Broward Cultural Division will host three listening sessions to ensure our diverse voices are heard and included in this planning effort.

These sessions are free and open to the public, but you must register to reserve your spot. 

Seating is limited to 20 attendees per session.

SESSION 1 will take place on April 8 at 10:30am and will focus on how this plan will affect municipalities, arts/creative businesses and foundations.

SESSION 2 will take place on April 9 at 2:00pm and will focus on how this plan will affect cultural institutions and organizations.

SESSION 3 will take place on April 9 at 6:00pm and will focus on how this plan will affect artists, creatives, teaching artists and cultural educators.
