    Pompano Beach is a dynamic cultural hub. The Pompano Beach Cultural Center includes a 300-seat theatre which can convert to a cabaret style venue with table tops and chairs. The Gallery at the Center has achieved acclaim for its curatorial showcasing of regional, national and international artists. The Pompano Beach Amphitheatre is a 3,000-seat outdoor venue that offers an amazing concert experience with one epic act after another. The Amp is known for hosting a wide variety of concerts ranging from Hard Rock, Country, Soul, Rap and everything in between. Ali Cultural Arts Building is a unique venue offering public visual art exhibits, musical and dance performances, showing a glimpse into the heritage of the Pompano Beach African-American community, and has become a center for the arts and history of Pompano Beach. Bailey Contemporary Arts (BaCA) is a beautiful contemporary art gallery. On the second floor there are working studio spaces for Bailey’s resident artists, who range from collagists to potters, painters to sculptors. Patrons can venture upstairs to watch them create. The center area provides lounge places for brainstorming or small meetings. It is the second oldest historical building in Pompano Beach. Pompanobeacharts.org

    Dance to Live is a concept for the adult communities to experience the joy and freedom of dance. Giving our adult community a place to just dance.   Once or twice a month Dance to Live program will have an open dance class for adults. Each session will be 1 hour. During this hour dancers will participate in stretches, movement across the floor quick small choreography, and free-flow dance. No matter the danceability anyone can participate. Our motto is "If you can breathe, you can dance" Steps will be modified to fit every dancer's skill set. The Music will be a great mixture of fun, uplifting, joyous, reflective, and upbeat

    The James D. and Alice Butler House is a historic home in Deerfield Beach, Florida, located at 380 East Hillsboro Blvd. On July 28, 1995, the House was added to the US National Register of Historic Places. The historic Butler House has been completely restored. It contains many of the original furnishings with the exception of the dining room table that was replaced after the first one was used to board up the west dining room window during the 1928 hurricane. The house and grounds were bequeathed to the Deerfield Beach Historical Society in 1977. It is now the group’s headquarters and is operated as a museum. The Society also operates the Cultural Center at 84 SE 4th Avenue. The Center hosts art shows, concerts, lectures and kids programs.

    Since our beginning in 1990, Fushu Daiko has practiced joyously on a quest for dynamic wholehearted taiko drumming, understanding, and appreciation in the way of taiko, Japanese culture, and all of life. Fushu Daiko is made up of many nationalities and backgrounds, yet we have been drawn together by the taiko.  Through its vibrations, Fushu Daiko wishes to create a sense of connection in the hearts of those who feel the taiko’s beat. Our performance brings impact and distinction to any gathering.  Based in South Florida, we are available for performances of all scales.     Music of the Unsung is an annual multi-event concert and conversation series that features a wide spectrum of Black musicians from the classical arts for and from the South Florida community, including Joseph Jones and Dwight Banks’ works. As a 2019 Knight Arts Challenge winner with lead funding from the John S. and James L Knight Foundation, Music of the Unsung America was launched by double bassist and entrepreneur Portia Dunkley. The mission of Music of the Unsung is to address the need for more diverse representation in South Florida in classical music arts. In 2021, Portia Dunkley co-founded, with Angel Refuse’, The New Canon Chamber Collective Inc. (an affiliate of UpBeat Miami), a non-profit, South Florida-based chamber ensemble, to further this mission.

    The Scottish American Society of South Florida, Inc. [SASSF] is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the furtherance of Scottish culture through Scottish dance, music and art. Run entirely by a team of volunteers, our signature event is the Southeast Florida Scottish Festival and Games held on the 1st Saturday in March at Plantation Heritage Park - this year on March 4th, 2023 from 9am - 7 pm.    A portion of the funds raised by the Festival and other SASSF events are used to award scholarships for instruction in Scottish music, language, Highland Dancing, as well as academic pursuits.
