Earth Month Celebration at IKEA Sunrise

Join us at IKEA Sunrise on Sunday, April 7th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm as Sarah Huang paints an IKEA Dresser to celebrate Earth Month. As an IKEA Family Partner, we are thrilled to participate in this event featuring Sarah who is one of our art instructors and whose work is in the museum’s permanent collection. IKEA Family Members can enter a drawing to take the completed work of art home after Earth Month! 🌏

Sarah E. Huang was born in Manhattan, New York, and lives and works in Delray Beach, Florida. Huang received a BFA from Florida Atlantic University (2015) with a Major in Art: Studio with a concentration in Painting. Huang is a multidisciplinary artist focusing on the interplay of cultural identity and memory. Through her paintings, drawings, and installations, she explores the process of embracing one’s cultural roots through subjects rooted in reality and abstraction.
