The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood is committed to creating opportunities for all people to experience the visual and performing arts. To fulfill this mission, the Center interweaves exhibitions, performances, and educational programs that reflect the highest standards of artistry and diversity and fosters a creative environment where new and challenging work can thrive and flourish.       Moira Holohan Art and Culture Center of Hollywood Moira Holohan Presented by Art and Culture Center of Hollywood at Art and Culture Center of Hollywood March 24-May 27, 2012 Native New Yorker Moira Holohan’s practice focuses on experimentation through layering of several media; assemblage, video animation, and collage. Layered images and sound come out of her interest of the juxtaposition between the rational and the idea of truth, with the irrational and the idea of the absurd.       Philip Estlund: Subprime/Subtropics Exhibition Art and Culture Center of Hollywood Philip Estlund: Subprime/Subtropics Exhibition Presented by Art and Culture Center of Hollywood at Art and Culture Center of Hollywood March 24-May 27, 2012 Subprime-Subtropics is Phillip Estlund’s first solo exhibition in Broward County. The Lake Worth-based contemporary visual artist will exhibit sculptures and two-dimensional collages that inhabit the psychological and physical terrain left behind by man-made and natural disasters.
