The Seminole Okalee Indian Village was the first enterprise established by the unconquered Seminole Tribe of Florida in 1960. The new Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum at Okalee Village is a preview center of the nationally-recognized Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum located on the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Big Cypress Reservation. This museum provides an introduction of Florida Seminole history and culture to guests.
The Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum at Okalee Village features a collection of Seminole cultural and historical artifacts in three distinctive galleries totaling 4,000 square feet. These exhibitions and artifacts show how Seminole Tribe ancestors lived and survived in the Florida Everglades.
The Museum is avidly collecting original artifacts pertaining to Seminole culture and will feature special exhibitions throughout the year.
