A mural by Ruben Ubiera located in the FATVillage™ Arts District, part of Fort Lauderdale’s downtown historic warehouse district.

To celebrate international destinations newly available from Southwest Airlines’ updated and expanded facility at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International airport, the airline infused South Florida’s lively art scene with an interactive mural painted by local street artist Ruben Ubiera.

The mural, located in the FATVillage arts district of Ft. Lauderdale, brings to life the vibrant cultures of Southwest’s near-international destinations served nonstop from FLL airport: Belize City, Cancun, Cuba, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, Nassau, Punta Cana, San Jose, Costa Rica, and Turks & Caicos.
