NSU Art Museum Fort Lauderdale

NSU Art Museum features virtual tours of its current exhibitions Happy! and I Paint My Reality: Surrealism in Latin America and its YouTube channel presents lectures, discussions and interviews.

Ashanti Cultural Arts NEW

In celebration of their 30th birthday, Ashanti Cultural Arts is offering a series of virtual classes including audio engineering, dance, literacy, wellness including gardening, cooking, and yoga, and art classes based on adjunctive therapy starting September through June2021. Miami City Ballet is offering free online dance classes live on their Instagram page and pre-recorded versions will also be hosted on their YouTube channel

Local artisan market, Sunny Side Up, has launched a virtual market, which is updated daily and will be live on their website until the next market (tentatively scheduled for June 14

Developing Dreams Foundation

FATVillage Arts District

FATVillage Arts District is hosting live virtual artist talks on the Facebook page, as well as promoting local artist residents and local businesses in their district.

Arts & Culture Center, Hollywood

Art and Culture Center/Hollywood is offering a virtual walkthrough of their space that you can view at any time on their YouTube channel here

48-Hour Film Project

48-Hour Film Project has launched a special fun challenge for film makers to exercise their creativity during quarantine called Stuck at Home 48’. Participants can also sign up for the Animation Project, a timed creation of an animated short that will be entered into the 48-Hour Film contest.

The Frank C. Ortis Art Gallery and Exhibit Hall

The Frank Art Gallery is hosting a free virtual series “From the Frank to You”, a free virtual series hosted Monday through Friday focusing on a variety of programs including drawing and painting, print making, kids’ corner and story time, and a lecture series. Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood is bringing its beloved art, food, entertainment, and wellness experiences closer to home with their #WynAtHome series. YAA At Home, a center for downloadable content and virtual tours that will keep your kids busy, including:

Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF)

FLIFF Virtual Cinema is a Pay Per View Program where you can pay between $5 – $18 to see a film, during a 48 – 72-hour period. This is a new way for audiences to safely watch latest releases during this time while also supporting local, independent theaters. View what’s streaming here.

Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation

New World Symphony

New World Symphony is debuting a web-based series called NWS Archive+, a moderated discussion with the New World Symphony Fellows, Alumni, guest artists, and visiting faculty on the recorded performance from their archives. New World Symphony is also hosting Live From Our Living Room, a live, informal chamber music concert performed on Fridays at 7PM from musicians homes in Miami Beach on their Facebook here. Artist-made coloring book

Miami-based Brazilian artist Romero Britto is offering free downloable coloring books for people of all ages on his website here. Print the page and snap a picture of it to post to Instagram with the hashtag #HappyArtBritto to have your coloring page featured on his feed.

Miami Beach Urban Studios – FIU

Starting March 30, the Betsy Hotel and the FIU Miami Beach Urban Studios have partnered on an Arts Salon Programs to host weekly installments of a new online interactive art salon series call “Zen and the Art of….” which features talks and performances by some of the most innovative artists of today.
