About Elise: Elise has spent her entire life in pursuit of making art of all types; Mosaics, Rock Gardens, Watercolor, and Acrylic Painting, to name a few. After she graduated from art school with a degree in advertising and illustration, she worked as a Graphic Designer in New York. She designed packaging for cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, magazine advertisements, and billboards seen in Times Square in New York City. She then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Painting at Hofstra University while her children were young. It was challenging to be a full-time mother and student; but she knew it would be worth it as she wanted to share her knowledge and become an art teacher. She then went on to graduate with a Master's Degree in Art Education, also from Hofstra University. She worked as a High School art teacher in Queens, New York, and taught studio and digital arts courses. She helped young artists prepare their portfolios for college acceptance. Currently, she is an ESE art teacher in Broward County, Florida. She spends her time with vulnerable youth, using art to build fine and gross motor skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity through the mediums of clay, paint, and various other media.
