With more than 60 years in the Latin music business, El Gran Combo is known as the ‘Institution of Salsa’ or the ‘University of Salsa’ and one of the most recognized salsa bands in the world. PERFORMER BIO
David Lucca has been in the music business for more than 45 years and has traveled all over the world with artists of the level of Tito Puente, Ray Barreto, Dave Valentin, Hilton Ruiz and many more. Lucca has been nominated for 2 Latin Grammy Awards and has shared the stage with Gilberto Santa Rosa, Victor Manuel, Jose Alberto El Canario, Andy Montanez, and Ismael Miranda. Music runs in the Lucca family; David Lucca is the cousin of Papo Lucca, member of the famed Puerto Rican Salsa band, La Sonora Poncena. David Lucca y Los Clasicos specialize in the 70s Big Band Salsa Style for the Salsa Dancers.
