The Rose Singers are the top vocal ensemble, at Coral Reef Senior High
School, a highly touted magnet program in Miami-Dade County. The Rose
Singers”, named in memory of their first director John Rose, is a Superior
Rated choir, which has gained many accolades throughout the music. The Rose
Singers perform various styles of music ranging from Classical to African
American spirituals.

The Coral Reef Senior High Chamber Strings was established in 1997 and is an award-winning
program that serves the Miami-Dade community with astonishing performances, community
outreaches to hospitals, senior facilities, middle and high school string programs as well as
participating and consistently receiving straight superior ratings in the Florida Orchestra
Association’s Music Performance Assessments at both the district and state levels. They perform in
a wide range of string and full orchestra repertoire including performing musicals with choir,
dance, and drama, including the complete Nutcracker ballet with school and professional
dancers which they just finished performing.
