The Holocaust Documentation & Education Center invites you to the Grand Opening Of "Hope, Resilience & Remembrance" Art Exhibition containing painting from Wilma Bulkin Siegel and Mark L. Cohen.
Wilma Bulkin Siegel, M.D.
Distinguished and prominent retired Oncologist and award-winning artist. Her current passion is to bring art into the medical field as a tool for education and healing. Bulkin Siegel would like to bring the suffering & plight of Holocaust Survivors to the public. She hopes to give therapy to the soul and create work that not only shows the suffering but the depth of spirit in everyone.
Mark L. Cohen
Award-winning graphic designer, marketing communications executive, teacher, painter and printmaker. Cohen’s intention is to remind viewers that more than 70 years after the Holocaust, we live in a world of not only continuing antisemitism, but hateful biases that result in genocides and senseless killings around the world. Cohen’s lifework has become using fine art as an educational tool to combat antisemitism, racism, misogyny and injustice of all kinds. He is most grateful to HDEC in providing a venue for that work.
