Many native butterfly species of South Florida are imperiled or endangered! 
Flamingo Gardens plans to build a Butterfly Pavilion in 2023 to breed and release native butterflies. The Pavilion will also be a place of learning! Our visitors will have access to the Pavilion where they will learn about the importance of butterflies to our ecosystem.

How you can help! Sign up for Flamingo Gardens' 5K Flutter Walk-a-thon and start raising pledges from friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers for our new Butterfly Pavilion! Then come out and walk on Sunday, November 6, 2022! Please help us reach our Walk-a-thon goal of $25,000!

Registration closes October 30, 11:59pm. Only those registered will be allowed on premises.
Day of Event Check-In: 7am-8am (please arrive before 7:45am)
Free event parking available in guest parking.
Check in is in front of Flamingo Gardens' Gift Shop to pick up your t-shirt and bib.
Optional stretch exercises next to the Check in Area.
Begin your walk as soon as you are ready!
After the walk, head to the Athlete's Village located in the BBQ House for a celebration.
Prizes will be awarded for Individual Walker and Team Categories for 1. Top Fundraiser and 2. Best Butterfly Themed Costume.
