Native American Art Artfest Workshop

Native American Art Artfest Workshop

Presented by The Frank Art Gallery at The Frank

Artist, activist, and educator Melanie Oliva teaches a family-friendly workshop inspired by a Native American artist in recognition of November being Native American Heritage Month. Attendees will create a painted composition on paper based on the bold, geometric artwork of Starr Hardridge, a member of the Muscogee Creek Nation. Stencils of animals and shapes will be available for younger artists.

Seating is limited to 25 participants per workshop. Sign up during Artfest at The Frank’s front desk. The workshop is 90 minutes long. Unclaimed seats 15 minutes after start time will be surrendered.
