My name is Erika Tommie and my Dakota name is  “Itazipe Win” (pronounced: “EEE-Tah-Zee-Pe  Ween”)  I am a full-blooded, Isanti Dakota (also referred to as Santee Sioux or Dakota Sioux) Native American Artist, I come from the Santee Sioux Indian Reservation located in Northeastern Nebraska; yet I reside in Broward County where I have been showcasing my artwork for several years. In this “Master” Dreamcatcher Workshop with a “Twist” I will blend my two most loved art forms! Painting and Making Dreamcatchers! We will be completing an 11′ x 14″ Acrylic painting of a Dreamcatcher! In the “Master” Dreamcatcher Making Workshop we will be focusing on “Bead Placement’ in the web. Everyone will complete their very own Dreamcatcher. This event will be open to the public, ages 18 and older ( children under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.) Free.
