IRCC celebrates Navratri on October 1 and 8, and it promises to be a fun-filled event for all. Traditional garba and dandiya raas dancing!
The countdown to the grand Navratri celebration is on! The festival will be held on October 1 and October 8, 2022, and it promises to be a fun-filled event for all. Guests will enjoy Navratri by dancing the traditional steps of Garba and Dandiya Raas to traditional Indian folk music. We can arrange to teach these simple dance steps to anyone who does not know them. Indian food will be served. Dandiyas will be available for purchase for $6 a pair. So mark your calendars and be sure to join in the festivities!
One of the most popular events of the year, the grand Navratri celebration involves 2 nights of dancing – garba, dandia and more – celebrating the Festival of 9 nights dedicated to Goddess Durga.
This celebration involves 2 days of celebration – you can attend either one or both days. This year, the two dates for Navratri celebration are October 1 and 8, 2022.
Event Fees:
Online, by September 30:
Members (ages 13 and up) : $20.00 per person; Members (ages 6-12): $15.00 per person
Non-members (ages 13 and up): $30.00 per person; Non-members (ages 6-12): $25.00 per person
On the day of the event (October 1 and October 8):
Members (ages 13 and up) : $25.00 per person; Members (ages 6-12): $15.00 per person
Non-members (ages 13 and up): $35.00 per person; Non-members (ages 6-12): $25.00 per person
Ages 5 and under: FREE
