It’s your last chance to visit the Free Our Seas Flotsam Fauna exhibit and the Pollution Solutions Gallery Exhibit before they close on September 5.
FREE OUR SEAS CLOSING WEEKEND, September 3, 4, & 5: Live Music by saxophonist Reuben Gonzalez from 1pm - 3pm, Kids’ Corner free activities with Free Our Seas and the MODS STEMobile from 10am-4pm. Labor Day Weekend Food Specials will be offered to purchase at the Flamingo Café. Conservation information booths will be presented by Free Our Seas, Museum of Discovery & Science, and the NSU Alvin Sherman Library.
Kids’ Corner with the MODS STEMobile 10am – 4pm: Learners will explore an aquifer where Florida’s drinking water is stored before it reaches the tap! Then, explore the source of Florida’s water supply, discover how everyday choices can impact our water supply as they create their own aquifer models.
Free Our Seas and Beyond 10am- 4pm: Guests will learn about the dangers of ocean plastic pollution. Eco-friendly alternative items will be available for purchase and kids can make and take a free recycled craft.
Admission: $21.95 for ages 12+, $15.95 for ages 3-11, Flamingo Gardens Members & Children age 2 & under are admitted free.
Weekend activities/entertainment, narrated tram tour and entry into the Wray Home Museum are included in admission.
