Free Our Seas exhibit "Flotsam Fauna" is on display with a collection of art installations created using marine debris and other reclaimed plastics to highlight the ocean plastic pollution problem.  Ten sculpture areas featuring sea creatures and Everglades wildlife made for more than 1000 pounds of trash.  The Pollution Solutions exhibit inside the Gallery educates guests with fascinating facts about our coastlines, oceans and waterways.  The exhibit also features live fresh and saltwater aquariums and live mangrove trees.  This weekend, 4ocean will also provide a Free bracelet to guests visiting the Gallery (while supplies last) -  just show your admission receipt.

Back 2 School Weekend, Saturday & Sunday, August 13 & 14, kids can begin their day at 10am with Kids' Yoga and Relaxation for back to school.  Family conservation activities with Flamingo Gardens Volunteers,  Eco-teers, and Youth Environmental Alliance, will take place between 11am - 3pm.  Live music by the Divas All Stars will be performed from 1pm - 3pm.  A variety of conservation organizations will also be on-site.

School supplies are also being collected for children in need.  Supplies may be dropped of in the marked collection area in the Gift Shop.  No admission necessary just to drop off supplies.
