Our Canopy is a quilted textile installation by Jen Clay and curated by Juliana Forero. This work was created for the length of the gallery to allow viewers to walk through a forest of quilted cutouts of strange limbs and hands.Clay created a piece that literally \"hangs over your head\" to signify worry while using intrinsically welcoming quilted textures to create a friendly atmosphere to allow the concerns to be approachable.
This project was funded by the Pompano Beach Cultural Center and the Broward Cultural Division.
