Daggerwing Nature Center is thrilled to exhibit nature-themed artwork from Gregory Dirr in the Art Gallery during the month of June.
“This collection features observational paintings that reference natural landscapes, nature photographs, and parks. Some of these paintings depict exaggerated scenes, which changes perspective of what we see in nature. I want the viewer to freely interpret the images and mood themselves, by adding abstract colors. The media used in this collection include acrylic, gouache, raw recycled cloth, Plexiglas, spray paint, and recycled frames.”
Gregory Dirr is a full-time visual artist and curator in Boca Raton. He received his BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design in 2008.
If you have any questions about the pieces or the artist, please contact him directly.
