A fascinating discussion about birds and the role of art in environmental conservation in South Florida
As part of Andrea Huffman’s exhibit "Listening to the Sky", Bailey Contemporary Art will host a panel discussion on the importance of
birds to the south Florida environment and what we can do to protect and enjoy them in our local communities. Speakers include
Certified Florida Master Naturalist Autumn Kioti, who will talk about her work at the Cape Florida Banding Station and some of the many
local projects she’s involved with. Also presenting is local wildlife volunteer and Everglades tour guide Ann Wiley. Ann will share ideas for making our backyards into bird-friendly habitats. Stories and images from their adventures will provide for an evening of engaging conversation about Florida’s environment.
