The City of Pembroke Pines and Studio 18 in the Pines invite you to join in a celebration of Black History Month on Thursday, February 3rd at the ‘Get with the Prose’ poetry workshop! In this interactive workshop, poet Sharonda “Eccentrich” Richardson, leads participants on a study of works by notable African-American poets. Attendees will also utilize the skills and references gained to craft their own biographical poems. “The Caged Bird Writes” workshop begins at 7 PM.
