BEAUTY OF THE WILD: A Life Designing Landscapes Inspired by Nature, by Darrel Morrison

Presented by Marin Art and Garden Center at Marin Art and Garden Center

Webinar with renowned landscape designer, Darrel Morrison whose ecology-based approach has influenced generations of practitioners.

For more than six decades, Morrison has drawn inspiration from the varied landscapes of his life—from the Iowa prairie to Texas prickly pear scrub to the maple-beech-hemlock forests of Door County, Wisconsin, to the banks of the Oconee River in Piedmont Georgia.

Morrison’s work can be found across the U.S. from the New York Botanical Garden, to the National Wildflower Research Center in Austin, Texas.  In his new book, Beauty of the Wild: A Life Designing Landscapes Inspired by Nature, Morrison tells the stories of people who have nourished his career as a teacher and a designer of landscapes.
