Infinite Memory| Time and Mutability in Speculative Fiction

Infinite Memory| Time and Mutability in Speculative Fiction

Presented by Southwest Regional Library at Online/Virtual Space

Time travel in speculative fiction is often used (in its grossest sense) as a distancing effect, allowing stories to address contemporary issues that are often touchy subjects. However, we mentally time travel every day by thinking back to the past, or picturing the future. This 60-minute discussion will cover the use of time and memory in speculative fiction, and include a short Q & A from attendees.
