Ignite Broward: Art + Tech Talk

Ignite Broward: Art + Tech Talk

Presented by Broward Cultural Division at MetroLab at FAU

Join award-winning Los Angeles-based artist and architect Susan Narduli for a talk in which she will discuss the evolution of her concept of public space, as well as new tools for placemaking and expression.

The work of Narduli Studio explores technology as the language of reimagined public space and as the catalyst for an expansive and dynamic collective experience. Using projects from the studio’s practice, this talk will explore the possibilities that new technologies bring to create meaningful public spaces that are collaborative, experiential and that engender community engagement. Narduli has been commissioned to create a new light-based art installation on the Andrews Avenue and NE 3rd Avenue bridges in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Presented as part of Ignite Broward, a free immersive art experience from January 26 – 30, Narduli’s site-specific installation States of Matter will be on view to the public at MAD Arts in Dania Beach (481 S. Federal Highway) from 10 AM - 8 PM daily.
