BERTS BIG BED A staged reading

Presented by Epiphany Theatre at Ellliot Hall

"BERTS  BIG BED"    This is a gay comedy about  sexy Bert who meets Tim in The San Francisco Eagle one night and they become friends.  Tim and Mark are having some troubles in their relationship.    In the leather bar Tim has some big news to tell his partner  Mark  and  Bert  helps him break the bad news in a Cyrano DE Bergerac way !   A  sexy and fun comedy.

This comedy was originally produced in 1991 and ran in San Francisco for 6 months, later on had regional productions in Chicago, Dallas and Orlando.  In the play  Tim  gets his test results that he is HIV positive. back 30 years ago HIV was considered a death sentence. Today HIV has changed  over 30 years and this revised version of the play shows  Tim understanding his HIV and his partner getting on PrEP.  Telling someone you are HIV positive is not easy and in this play we find a fun and sexy way to present  it.  This will be a 2 night only  staged reading presentation of the newly revised comedy.   A full production will follow this summer.
