Coping Behind the Mask

Coping Behind the Mask

Presented by The City of Pembroke Pines: Art and Cultural Department and Studio 18 In The Pines at STUDIO 18 IN THE PINES

The City of Pembroke Pines and Studio 18 in the Pines are pleased to present Coping Behind the Mask. There is a need in our society to step back from the daily grind and reconnect and care for ourselves. By engaging in artistic creation and self-expression, a person can find a connection with themselves and others. Join us for an interactive exhibition designed to raise awareness about the function of art as a viable therapeutic component and a powerful contributor to a community’s physical, social, and emotional well-being. We hope to inspire change and nurture personal growth with this exhibition.

Participating artists: Apia Art, Reinaldo Lozano, Autumn Kioti, Sharonda Eccentrich Richardson and others.

Coping Behind the Mask opens on Friday, October 1st at 7 PM.

Admission and parking to Studio 18 are free. Mask-wearing is mandatory. For more information, call 954.961.6067 or visit www.ppines.com/studio18
