Season 11: Encounters with Strangers is a series of concerts inspired by the power of the stranger.  Each program tells a story of the role of the stranger to change a life, for the better or for the the worse.  Stay after each performance to discuss the topics raised in the concert in a round table discussion.

Program 2: Extranjeros,  in partnership with ALBA (Abraham Lincoln Brigade Archives,  tells the story of the Spanish Civil War and the participation of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade. Hear a fictional love story set  during the Spanish Civil War featuring historical context and quotes by composers, writers and more.  Music by Falla, Maria Rodrigo, Joaquin Rodrigo, Lorca, Turina, William Grant Still, and Metallica.
