Summer Workshops Inspired by Jen Clay's Sculptures

Summer Workshops Inspired by Jen Clay's Sculptures

Presented by Young At Art Museum at Hollywood Arts Park

Enjoy the ArtsPark and stop by the High Bay Studio for some hands-on art making fun inspired by the sculptures of multimedia artist Jen Clay. The workshop is directed by artist Rafael Vargas-Bernard who will develop a collaborative digital work with the projects visitors make and Jen Clay’s artwork. Utilizing illustrations of Jen Clay’s Fruiting Bodies series visitors will make paper creatures from them and then use color-to-sound scanners made by Rafael Vargas-Bernard to interact with Jen's work displayed at the studio.

Workshops are free all summer long every Friday from 5pm to 9pm and Saturday from 2pm to 6pm. On Hollywood Artwalk nights the third Saturday of every Month from 6pm to 11pm, Young At Art’s workshop will keep Artwalk hours. Join us at the next Artwalk on July 17th for an exciting new art activity inspire by Jen Clay’s artwork. Workshops are held at the High Bay Studio next to Hollywood Hot Glass by the outdoor Amphitheater in the ArtsPark at Young Circle in Downtown Hollywood.
